Where we work: roofing across Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley

Our office is on Gateside Drive in El Sereno, and our crews work across the city and the neighborhoods around it. Here is what that coverage looks like, region by region, and where it stops.

Our coverage

One office, five regions

Coverage for a roofer is about more than distance. It is about knowing what the roofs look like in each part of town, which ones sit in a fire zone, which neighborhoods are mostly tile and which are mostly flat, and how long it takes to stage a crew on a hillside street. The regions below are how we think about the city, and each one describes the roofs we actually find there rather than a list of names to rank for.

Everywhere on this page gets the same things: calls answered 24/7, a written scope before work starts, and permits pulled where the job needs one. For what a job looks like step by step, see how a replacement runs or how we trace a leak.

What the work looks like across the city

The Eastside and Northeast LA

This is home ground. Our office is in El Sereno, and the streets around it, from Lincoln Heights and Boyle Heights to Highland Park and Eagle Rock, are the shortest drive we make. The work here is a mix: flat roofs on duplexes and small apartment buildings, shingle and tile on older houses, and the carefully matched repairs that Lincoln Heights' Victorians deserve. Just across the city line, we work in Alhambra, Monterey Park and South Pasadena on the same kinds of roofs.

The hills and central neighborhoods

Silver Lake, Los Feliz, the Hollywood Hills and Hancock Park hold much of the city's clay tile, on Spanish and Mediterranean homes where matching an old color matters. The hillside roofs are steep and slow to stage, and many sit in the very high fire hazard zone, so re-roofs there are Class A assemblies. Glendale, Burbank and Pasadena round out this region, and Pasadena in particular has seen what a hard Santa Ana wind does to tile and shingle.

The San Fernando Valley

Over the hill, the Valley's homes mostly date from its 1960s and 1970s building wave, and concrete tile is the common roof. We work from Winnetka, Reseda and Van Nuys to Encino, Tarzana and Sherman Oaks, and up to Chatsworth, Granada Hills, Sylmar and Sunland-Tujunga, where much of the northern edge sits in the very high fire hazard zone. Valley summers run hot, so cool-roof shingles, attic ventilation and tile relays over new underlayment are the jobs we see most there.

The Westside and South Bay

West and south, we take roofing work in Culver City, Santa Monica and Inglewood, and down through Torrance and San Pedro to Long Beach. Flat and low-slope roofs on apartment buildings and stucco homes make up a lot of it. The Westside's rebuilding after the 2025 fires has made crews and materials scarcer there, so we are straightforward about scheduling before we commit to a date.

Southeast LA County

To the southeast, we work in Whittier and Downey, mostly on shingle re-roofs, tile repairs and the flat roofs on garages and additions. These are longer drives from El Sereno, so planned work is scheduled in blocks, while leaks and storm damage are still answered around the clock.

Where coverage ends

The honest edge of our map

We do not regularly take work in Orange County, the Inland Empire, Ventura County or the Antelope Valley. Those areas have their own roofers who know their codes and weather, and a crew driving in from El Sereno is rarely the best answer for a homeowner there.

If you are near the edge of one of the regions above, call anyway. We will tell you plainly whether we can take the job and when we can be there, before anything is scheduled.
